Sweet & Sour Stir Fry Prawns

The mouth-watering combination of sweet & sour flavours of the tamarind chutney combined with prawns creates an aromatic dish within minutes.


Serves: 3-4 people

Preparation Time: 10 mins

Cooking Time: 10-12 mins




500g of king prawns

Oil as required

Salt and black pepper

1tsp brown sugar

1tsp ginger paste

1 tsp garlic paste

1tbsp Nizami Tamarind Chutney

1tsp Nizami Vegetarian Chilli Oil



Heat oil in a frying pan.

Fry ginger and garlic paste.

Add salt and all other ingredients and continue to fry for 3-4 mins.

When the mixture starts to thicken add the prawns.

Fry for 2 mins until the sauce begins to stick to the prawns.

Garnish with black pepper and fresh coriander and serve hot.
